Potential for Economic Co-operation Also on Kucan's Agenda in Jordan

Petra, 27 February - Slovene President Milan Kucan, who is on his second day of an official visit to Jordan on Wednesday, visited the ancient city of Petra, south of the capital of Amman. After discussing the crisis in the Middle East, bilateral relations and the situation in the Balkans with King of Jordan Abdullah II last night, Kucan and Jordanian officials also touched on the potential for more intensive economic co-operation.
