Mercator Group Sees Sales Revenues of EUR 1.3 Billion

Ljubljana, 27 February - The Mercator group, the leading Slovene retailer which along with the parent company consists of 26 subsidiaries, posted net sales revenues of SIT 284.737 billion (EUR 1.3 billion) last year, an 18.4-percent jump over 2000. The group's profits rose by 15.9 percent last year to SIT 4.86 billion (EUR 22 million).
