Slovenia's Fifth Bank Records a 23-Percent Growth

Koper, 27 February - Slovenia's fifth largest bank Banka Koper ended 2001 with a 6.3-percent market share in Slovenia, total assets of SIT 243.96 billion (EUR 1.09 billion), and a 23-percent growth. The bank's net pre-tax profit was at SIT 3.25 billion (EUR 14.5 million) in 2001 and at SIT 2.42 billion (EUR 10.5 million) after taxes, representing a 11.49 return on capital.
