Union Olimpija Stumbles in First Match of Euroleague Top 16

Athens, 27 February - Reigning Slovene basketball champions Union Olimpija lost 97:87 (24:15, 44:31, 70:64) against Greece's AEK from Athens in the first-round top 16 Euroleague encounter on Wednesday. Olimpija will have to try and clinch its first top 16 win of the season in the "all-Greek" group G from Panathinaikos, which it faces in an away game on 7 March.
