Slovene President Wraps Up Visit to Jordan

Aqaba, 28 February - Slovene President Milan Kucan concluded his tree-day official visit to Jordan on Thursday. During his first visit to an Arab country, he met with Jordanian King Abdullah II, visited the ancient city of Petra and attended a business conference with the President of the Slovene Chamber of Commerce (GZS) Jozko Cuk. Kucan and the King agreed that there is a lot of economic potential between the two countries, especially in tourism. The King was happy to accept Kucan's invitation to visit Slovenia, perhaps already in the summer or the autumn.
