Slovenia Demands Equal Participation of Candidate Countries in EU Convention
Brussels, 28 February - Slovenia will ask for equal participation of EU applicant countries in all stages of the convention on the future of the EU, and insists on equal opportunities for EU candidates and members to take part in debates, decision-making, drafting documents and putting forward proposals, the Slovene government representative to the convention, Matjaz Nahtigal, said Thursday before the maiden session of this 105-member institution.
