Foreign Ministry State Secretary Tovornik Dismissed to Assume Diplomatic Post

Ljubljana, 28 February - State Secretary to the Foreign Ministry Magdalena Tovornik was dismissed from the post on Thursday by the government as she is to shortly assume the post of Slovene ambassador to France. Moreover, Tovornik, who has headed the Foreign Ministry Office for Slovenes Abroad since December 2000, was replaced at the top of this office by Foreign Ministry State Secretary Iztok Simoniti, who is now acting director of the office and state secretary at the same time, the ministry said.
