U.S. Delegation Commends Slovenia's Plans to Construct New Defence System

Ljubljana, 28 February - Slovene Defence Minister Anton Grizold on Thursday met with a U.S. delegation headed by U.S. permanent representative to NATO, Ambassador Nicholas Burns, to outline Slovenia's progress in preparations for NATO membership. The delegation, who arrived on a one-day visit to Slovenia in a bid to discuss Slovenia's membership effort, commended the planned reforms, and was hopeful that reforms would continue into membership.
