Port of Koper Posts Annual Operating Revenues of EUR 57.5 Million

Koper, 28 February - Slovenia's Port of Koper posted operating revenues of SIT 12.85 billion (EUR 57.52 million) last year, which is an increase of 0.9 percent compared to 2000. With operating losses amounting to SIT 3.41 billion (EUR 15.2 million), the port saw net profits of the 2001 business year totaling SIT 3.64 billion (EUR 16.29 million), soaring by 25 percent year-on-year, the company managing the North Adriatic port said on Thursday.
