Footwear Producer Peko Halves Its Loss in 2001

Tržič, 1 March - The troubled Slovene footwear producer Peko, which has passed into state ownership after recording disastrous results in 2000, has almost halved its loss in 2001 to SIT 810 million (EUR 3.6 million), down from SIT 1.53 billion (EUR 6.6 million) in 2000, the company said Friday.
