Profits of Slovenia's Fourth Bank Down 19 Percent in 2001

Ljubljana, 1 March - Unaudited profits of Abanka, Slovenia's fourth largest bank, were down 19 percent in 2001 compared to the year before, totaling SIT 1.75 billion (EUR 7.8 million). Total assets, on the other hand, soared almost 36 percent in the same period to amount to SIT 255.36 billion (EUR 1.14 billion), the bank reported Friday.
