Bank of Slovenia Set to Propose Changes to Act on Banking
Ljubljana, 1 March - Today's decision by the Bank of Slovenia council to grant Italy's SanPaolo IMI 32.9 percent of voting rights in Banka Koper is a fact that the council will take into account next time it looks into a request for the acquisition of a qualified share in any Slovene bank, deputy Governor Samo Nucic said Friday after the central bank gave the go-ahead to the Italian bank.
