Slovene Fishermen Face Many Changes when New Act on Marine Fishing is Introduced
Ljubljana, 2 March - According to the Slovene Statistical Office, last year's catch of fish, cephalopods, crustaceans and shellfish increased 1.4 percent over 2000. What catches in the future will be like will depend largely on the new act on marine fishing, which is being drafted at the Slovene Agriculture Ministry and is to enter parliament procedure this month.
