Gov't Should Admit Mistake and Stop NLB Privatisation, Former Economics Minister Says

Ljubljana, 2 March - It would be very useful if the government stopped the privatisation of NLB, Slovenia's leading bank, "as there is no hurry". There is also "no real reason" to sell the banks now, regardless of the presently overwhelming influx of foreign currency, University of Ljubljana Chancellor Joze Mencinger, a distinguished Slovene economist, told Saturday's edition of the daily Delo.
