Slovene Community Starts Gathering Signatures to Preserve Slovene Village Near Gorizia

Gorizia, 3 March - The Slovene Community, the only political party of Slovenes in Italy, on Sunday started gathering signatures to demand a local referendum in Italy's Gorizia on the town plan laid down by the Gorizia municipality, which wants to dispossess some Slovenes of their land and tear down eight farms in order to expand a truck stop at the border.
