Slovenia and Slovakia Critical of Proposed Financial Strategy for Enlargement

Ljubljana, 4 March - Slovenia and Slovakia have second thoughts about the proposed financial strategy for EU enlargement, and think it would be good to consider inviting candidates to take part in the drafting of a document that would reflect the EU's increased political readiness for enlargement, Slovene Europe Minister Janez Potocnik and deputy Slovakian Prime Minister Maria Kadlecikova said after meeting on Monday.
