Ljubljana, 4 March - Slovenia is an open and democratic society which can face differentness in a civilised manner, Alja Brglez, head of the Government Public Relations and Media Office told on Monday Lousewies van der Laan, a member of the European Parliament, who wondered on Saturday whether controversy surrounding the Slovene selection for the Eurovision Song Contest may have a homophobic background.
