Locals Protest Against Bilateral Agreement on Krsko Nuclear Power Plant

Krško, 6 March - The local officials of the municipality of Krsko, SE Slovenia, held a meeting on Wednesday to voice their protest against the Slovene-Croatian agreement on the ownership and status of the jointly constructed Krsko Nuclear Power Plant (NEK). They are, most notably, against the solution anticipating that nuclear waste is to be stored on-site until the N-plant is decommissioned.
