Slovene-Croatian Dispute Over Oil Transport Also on the Agenda of Rupel-Picula Meeting
Ljubljana, 6 March - If a second round of talks between Slovene and Croatian experts on Croatia's controversial oil transport regulations does not bear fruit, Slovenia will continue the relevant procedure started at the WTO, Slovene Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel told the press after meeting his Croatian counterpart Tonino Picula. The Croatian minister, who paid an official visit to Slovenia on Wednesday, was also hopeful for further talks - scheduled for 18 March in Ljubljana - to be successful, so that the "expensive" procedure at the WTO would not be necessary.
