European Parliament Favourable to Bigger Role of Candidates in the EU Convention

Brussels, 6 March - European Parliament is favourable to the demands made by EU candidate countries for a bigger role in the convention on the future makeup of the EU and would use its authority in a bid to fulfil them, President of the European Parliament Pat Cox stressed on Wednesday after the talks with Speaker of the Slovene Parliament Borut Pahor, who is visiting Brussels.
