Slovenia Will Help Boost European Economy Too

Brussels, 7 March - As Slovenia will benefit from EU membership, so the EU, too, anticipates enlargement to have a positive macroeconomic effect, and expects future members to contribute significantly to make the EU the most competitive economy in the world by 2010, Spain's member of the European Parliament Ana de Palacio told Thursday a group of Slovene businessmen who wrapped up their two-day visit to Brussels.
