Losses of Slovene Railways Double in 2001

Ljubljana, 8 March - The state-owned Slovene Railways (SZ) posted losses of SIT 4.7 billion (EUR 21 million) in 2001, some one billion tolars (EUR 4.5 million) more than SZ director Igor Zajec anticipated just before then end of last year, SZ spokesman Sandi Salkic told STA on Thursday.
