Opposition Leader Blames Media and Government for Falling Support for NATO

Ljubljana, 9 March - The main reason for the dropping support for NATO membership is the unilateral media campaign, which the government has not countered. The view taken by Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek last year, when he said we should wait for the invitation and launch the campaign later, is wrong, leader of the opposition Social Democrats and former defence minister Janez Jansa told Saturday's edition of the daily Delo.
