Minister Rupel Discusses EU Convention with Romano Prodi

Venice, 9 March - In the future Europe, it will be easier to guarantee the identity of nations, minorities and ethnic communities. Nations in the future EU will not lose on importance, and we will definitely be able to talk about the "united people of Europe", Slovene Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel said Saturday in his address to the forum of the Alps-Adriatic working comunity in Venice, where he also met with President of the European Commission Romano Prodi.
