NATO Steering Committee Assesses Slovenia's Membership Preparations as Satisfactory

Brussels, 11 March - NATO's political and military steering committee, which met Monday in Brussels with Slovene representatives to assess the implementation of the 2002 Membership Action Plan (MAP), addressed 53 questions about Slovenia's readiness for membership, and the overall impression is very positive, head of the Slovene delegation, Foreign Ministry State Secretary Ignac Golob said after the meeting.
