Advertising Festival Begins in Portoroz

Portorož, 13 March - The 11th Slovene Advertising Festival kicked off on Wednesday evening with the presentation of awards for printed advertisements to Matevz Medja, who was awarded the 2001 Great Golden Mirror for an advertisement commissioned by the weekly Mladina. The other award, namely the Winter Golden Mirror for ads published from December 2001 to March 2002 went to Tina Osredkar and Borut Haclar for a series of ads commissioned by the daily Vecer. Both awards were presented by the GZS association of Slovene newspapers and magazines.
