Slovenia to Achieve Economic Development by Transition to Know-How, Says IMAD

Ljubljana, 13 March - Slovenia's economic development will be marked by sustainable development, the ability to compete and EU membership, according to its economic development strategy for the new decade which was adopted by the government in 2001. "This goal is to be achieved by transition to a society based on know-how, balanced regional development and environmental protection as well as on an improved efficiency of the state," said the head of the Institute for Macroeconomic Analysis and Development (IMAD) Janez Sustersic at Wednesday's panel called European Club Ljubljana.
