Financial Troubles of Slovene-Bred Lipizzaners Addressed by MPs

Lipica, 13 March - The financial issue of the Slovene horse-breeding institution Kobilarna Lipica should be addressed by the government within 30 days, decided the parliamentary agriculture committee on Wednesday. In line with a ruling of the Constitutional Court, Kobilarna Lipica will no longer be entitled to nearly EUR 894,000 from a license fee paid by Casino Portoroz for its gaming facility in the village of Lipica, southwest. Kobilarna will cease to receive the sum as of 2003.
