Slovene Textile Industry Endures Hard Times, Trade Union Says

Ljubljana, 13 March - As many as 112 Slovene textile and leather companies have gone bankrupt since 1995, leaving 20,000 people jobless, while 5,000 more workers are to be made redundant in 2002 and 2003, the trade union associating workers in the textile and leather industries said on Wednesday.
