Slovenia's Main Problem Is Public Skepticism about NATO Membership, NATO Expert Says

Ljubljana, 14 March - NATO will enlarge and Slovenia will probably be invited, as it can contribute to the stability in the Balkans despite its relative smallness. However the problem is the skepticism of the Slovene public about membership, as public support for membership is very low compared to other applicant countries, said Thursday Christopher Bennett, editor of the NATO review magazine, who held a lecture at the Ljubljana Faculty of Social Studies.
