Livestock-Breeding Act Comes Into Force on Friday

Ljubljana, 15 March - The act on livestock-breeding takes effect on Friday, setting down the goals of livestock-breeding, as well as the conditions and the manner of breeding among other things, thus regulating the chief agriculture sector in Slovenia. The act, which is part of EU-compatible legislation, was passed in a fast-track procedure in February, although it should have been adopted by the end of last year.
