Leading Insurance Company Allowed Only SIT 4.5 Billion of Fresh Capital

Ljubljana, 15 March - Instead of the originally planned SIT 17.5 billion/78 million euros, Zavarovalnica Triglav, Slovenia's largest insurance company, will only be able to supply itself with fresh capital of SIT 4.5 billion/20 million euros by the end of July. The change is a result of a new order issued on Thursday by the agency supervising the insurance market, and is in line with the changes to the insurance act which took effect on Tuesday.
