Finance Minister Explains Government's Stance on Bank Privatisation to Delo

Ljubljana, 18 March - "If we wish a speedy development of domestic banking, particularly a breakthrough to foreign markets, it will be very difficult to find enough capital at home for the penetration of foreign markets; even more so if we speak about the two banks in the privatisation process," Finance Minister Anton Rop explained in an interview for Monday's Delo the government's stance that selling the banks is justified.
