Additional Probe Shows Erythropoietin Prescription Violations in All Hospitals

Ljubljana, 18 March - After a special probe into six Slovene hospitals showed last week that the abuse in the prescription of the drug erythropoietin has caused damages of SIT 86.1 million (EUR 384,843) to the Slovene Health Insurance Institute last year, the Institute launched probes into six more hospitals, announcing on Monday that irregularities have been discovered in all six of them.
