Trieste Court Rejects Croatian Savers' Claims for Freeze of NLB Assets
Trieste, 19 March - A Trieste court rejected Tuesday a request of 176 Croatian citizens who used to hold foreign currency accounts in LB, a former Slovene bank, that 1.65 million euros of the Trieste branch of the Slovene bank NLB be frozen. The plaintiffs now have 10 days to appeal the ruling.
