Zavarovalnica Triglav Supplies EUR 33.4 Million of Fresh Capital

Ljubljana, 19 March - The largest Slovene insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav is to acquire fresh capital of SIT 7.5 billion (EUR 33.4 million), decided its assembly on Tuesday. The management's original proposal to supply SIT 17.5 billion (EUR 78.1 million) of fresh capital failed by two percent of the votes. The SIT 7.5 billion were approved by 91.75 percent of Triglav's shareholders representing 87.57 percent of the stock. Chairman of the board Nada Klemencic said that the management supported the opposing proposal as it was still acceptable.
