OECD Round Table: Administrative Barriers Hinder Foreign Investments
Ljubljana, 19 March - Administrative barriers are a big problem for foreign investors in Slovenia and the entire Southeastern Europe, agreed the participants of the round table on investment policy in Slovenia, held on Tuesday by the Economics Ministry and the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD). Procedures related to purchases of industry sites and operation license permits are the main issue, while the inflexible work legislation is also a hindrance. An adequate tax system is also relevant for investing, was said at the debate.
