France Prepared to Assess EU Candidates by their Merit, Slovene Europe Minister Says

Paris, 20 March - France is ready to implement the principle of differentiation of the EU candidate countries and supports their unique positions in the final phase of negotiations for membership, Slovene Minister for European Affairs Janez Potocnik said following talks he held with French officials in Paris on Wednesday. The talks were held as part of his one-day visit to Paris which comes in the frame of his ongoing tour of EU member states.
