PM Drnovsek and Head of the Doctors' Trade Union Agree to Speed Up Negotiations

Ljubljana, 20 March - As an all-out strike of doctors throughout Slovenia neared its third day, Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek met on Wednesday with the president of the trade unions of doctors and dentists (FIDES) Konrad Kustrin. As Drnovsek pointed out, he is willing to take action in person in a bid to promptly find solutions that are in line with the state's financial capacities, the government's press release said.
