Abrupt Changes in Slovenia's Economic Trends at the Beginning of the Year

Ljubljana, 20 March - Spending trends in Slovenia saw abrupt changes at the beginning of the year, as trade in January was solid, but most likely declined in February, according to the Economic Trends, a bulletin of the Economic Institute of the Ljubljana Faculty of Law. After months of persistent negative trends, procurement saw an upturn with greater economic optimism. In the belief of experts, this is in accord with world economic trends assessments for 2002 and 2003.
