DeSUS to Convene for Fifth Party Congress on Friday; No Major Changes Expected

Ljubljana, 21 March - Some 180 delegates of the Democratic Party of Pensioners of Slovenia (DeSUS) are to flock to the city of Postojna, southwestern Slovenia, on Friday for a two-day party congress, the fifth to date, to elect a new leadership, including its president. While no resolutions are expected to be adopted, some changes to the party statute are to be made, but the congress will be no milestone in terms of the party platform, DeSUS President Janko Kusar, who has led the party since 1999, said in an interview for STA.
