Slovenia's Compensation for Esuli Only a Stone in the Mosaic, Says Italian Minister
Trieste, 21 March - Rome does not consider the issue of esuli - Italian citizens who left the former Yugoslavia after WWII - closed as Ljubljana would like to see it, and it is in no hurry to withdraw the money from the fiduciary account at the Luxembourg-based Dresdner Bank, to which Slovenia on 3 January deposited the last installment of the damages compensation to esuli in accordance with the 1983 Rome Treaty, the Italian daily Il Piccolo writes on Thursday.
