Additional 450 Personnel to Be Required for EU-Related Tasks

Ljubljana, 21 March - The government on Thursday rejected a proposal put forward by the Government Office for European Affairs and the government's personnel office to employ an additional 450 officials for EU-related tasks. The figure had been estimated on the base of personnel requirements of individual ministries to carry out tasks dealing with European affairs and to work in EU institutions after Slovenia becomes EU member.
