None of the Bidders for NKBM Meets the Required Criteria, Commission Says

Ljubljana, 21 March - The commission supervising the sale of a 65-percent stake in the NKBM, Slovenia's second largest bank, decided on Thursday that none of the bidders that submitted binding bids for the stake - Bank Austria Creditanstalt, Italy's Unicredito and Slovenia's Aktiva Group - meets the privatisation conditions, according to the Finance Ministry. The decision means that the privatisation of the NKBM has been shelved.
