International Wine Competition to Kick Off on Friday

Ljubljana, 21 March - A total of 839 wine samples from 26 countries have been sent to this year's international wine competition in Ljubljana, which will be underway between 22 and 26 March. Foreign producers find the Ljubljana wine sampling more attractive because of the marks rather than because of the medals, as the majority of other international wine competitions are of commercial nature, while the Ljubljana event is a professional one, Julij Nemanic of the organisers told a news conference on Thursday.
