Ljubljana to Get First Art Cinema
Ljubljana, 23 March - A new art cinema is to be set up in Ljubljana, first of a kind in Slovenia, according to an agreement signed on Friday by Slovene Culture Minister Andreja Rihter and Ljubljana Mayor Viktorija Potocnik that foresees a renovation of the Ljubljanski dvor cinema, built in 1923. The theatre is to show only non-Hollywood contemporary art films, under the management of the Slovene Cinematheque, which specialises in classic and non-mainstream films.
