NATO Membership is Slovenia's Opportunity to Help Preserve Peace, Says PM Drnovsek

Bucharest, 26 March - Slovenia sees the membership of NATO as an opportunity to do its best in making its contribution to preserve international peace and security, Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek said on Tuesday at a meeting of prime ministers from the Vilnius group of NATO candidate countries in Bucharest. However as a democratic and economically successfull country, Slovenia does not need NATO membership as its confirmation, Drnovsek said as quoted by his office.
