Parliament Confirms Conclusions on European Commission Report

Ljubljana, 27 March - After lawmakers spent all Wednesday morning discussing the last annual report issued by the European Commission on Slovenia's progress towards accession, conclusions that had been adopted by the parliamentary commission for European affairs were confirmed. Prior to the vote, the MPs were also addressed by Europe Minister and head negotiator with the EU Janez Potocnik, who stressed that the focus of attention should be shifted from the purely financial aspects of negotiations to the broader implications of accession.
