Telekom Privatisation Plan Inches Towards Adoption

Ljubljana, 31 March - The Slovene government has no plans of discussing the privatisation programme of the national telco, Telekom Slovenije, within the next month, Information Ministry State Secretary Tomaz Kalin said in an interview with STA. According to Kalin, the programme has to be harmonised among the respective ministries prior to being placed on the government's agenda. According to the latest announcements from the ministry, the first phase of privatisation should be concluded by the end of 2003.
