Review of Slovene Economy from 25 to 31 May

Ljubljana, 2 June - The government adopted the supplementary budget for 2002, saving about EUR 63.8m. The largest Slovene bank NLB put an end to speculations when it appointed a new five-member management at the end of the week. Speculations were also dismissed by Belgian brewer Interbrew, which denied any intentions of selling its stock in Pivovarna Union to the Lasko brewery Pivovarna Lasko.
